Salary: up to £46,000 per annum dependant on experience + benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time or Part time - minimum 3 days per week

Right to live and work in the UK is required for this role along with high security clearance

Role Summary

We are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our comprehensive OH team. Working with our client, The Metropolitan Police Service, this will be a varied role which will involve undertaking workplace assessments and reporting on potential risks to health. You will also advise employees on both physical and mental health problems, all the while maintaining the highest standards of occupational healthcare.

Typically you will be completing 5-6 initial cases a day. Cases are usually 60 minutes but for complex cases and complex mental health cases we allow up to 90 minutes per appointment. 

At The Met Police, we run a fully tailored Occupational Health service with a multi-disciplinary team, who provide a wide range of services to MPS staff. This is a homebased remote position but you must be happy to travel to Lambeth, London 2-3 times a a year for induction and training / meetings. 

 

Who Are We Looking For?

  • You will need to be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) registered with the NMC,
  • Have previous experience working in Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) position.
  • An occupational health qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • You will need to be a proactive, friendly and professional person who is confident managing their own workload.
