Salary: Up to £85,000-£135,000 depending on experience per annum + benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time (Monday to Friday)

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Doctor who has gained their Diploma in Occupational Medicine, and are now looking to move into the Occupational Health sector as an OHP.
Joining Optima Health on the programme, you will have access to our market leading Occupational Health Physician mentor programme. This is a structured but flexible programme developed by Optima Health over many years, enabling Doctors to gain the skills and competencies to deliver full remit of the Occupational Physician standard and specialist intervention service. Split across different Learning Modules, you will learn about the Operational, Customers, and Clinical Service Delivery; undertaking quality telephone, video, and face to face clinical consultations, how to produce quality clinical OH reports, undertake Performance & Attendance Case Management, Pre-employment consultation, give advice on ill health retirement, complete drivers medicals, HAVs and much more.
You will gain valuable experience from our Clinicians, with the aim of becoming a skilled OHP within Optima Health at end of mentor programme.
You will be predominantly homebased but there is expectation to travel to local clinics / client sites when required.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Diploma in Occupational Medicine (Dip Occ Med) with previous experience as an Occupational Health Physician (OHP) is desirable but not essential
- A Medical Practitioner who has, since full registration, consolidated their skills and continued their medical education in line with the requirements of continuing medical education/continuing professional development
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Good understanding of the role and implications of clinical governance
